I love all of this - especially the terrors of the world prune complacency! What an amazing way to phrase that. It comes across as gentle and caring and I feel it so strongly in my heart as truth! ♥️

"Many mental, spiritual and emotional maladies can be remedied by spending time in service you find difficult and meaningful. When you make a difference to others, it makes a difference to you. "- This is so true, there is a very cool story in the latest BatGap interview about a Liberal American woman who found it very hard to help a single mum, Donald Trump supporter living in a trailer park... but when she went out of her comfort zone and did so, she made a difference to that woman and, as you say, to herself!

Hi Mark, that's a great example. It's the 'out of your comfort zone' part that makes it so powerful. When you genuinely have to give up familiarity, certainty and comfort to make a difference, it strengthens you in the process.

The wounds are deep and need to be exposed to the light be it truth or consequence to heal here and in the hereafter.

We are closest to you when you do what makes YOU happy, NOT when you do what you THINK would make us happy. This jumped at me. I used to try to be a good receptor for spirit. What thoughts I felt like I needed to think actively to draw someone in. What things I needed to put out into the world to specifically say - evidence I’ve said this, then I’ll believe.

Sometimes it worked. But never in the honest way I wanted. I’ve experienced things, that make me feel a connection, and then I tell myself I’m crazy, I’m over thinking it and I want it to be something it not.

Your mind can really get in the way.
