I am 23 weeks pregnant now. Baby peanut is the size of a large grapefruit. She is 30cm long and weighs 500 grams.
I think I’m in the early stages of nesting. There are only two things that matter to me right now:
Purging and plants.
Marie Kondo would be proud. Unless it’s both beautiful and useful, it has to go.
I have become obsessed with making our home resemble a 5-star spa hotel as closely as possible - only I am both the guest and the maid!
We haven’t bought anything for baby yet. We’re waiting until we get back from our honeymoon next week. So I’ve been focusing on cleaning, clearing, and beautifying other rooms in our home, starting with our en suite bathroom.
We are renting while we save for our first home. Our landlords started renovating our apartment, but stopped when they moved out. So some of it is super fresh and modern, and some of it belongs in 1992. Our en suite is one such room.
Yellowy-orangey wood cabinets, beige faux-marble tiles, a shower door that doesn’t quite close, and a towel rail that needs re-painted. These things are annoying me immensely.
