You may have noticed that some messages were richly detailed and included names, specific memories, and uniquely identifying features of the communicator. And those details seemed to come quickly and easily.

There were also messages that were…just ok. Not so richly detailed and impactful.

This variation happens in almost every public demonstration, and among almost all mediums.

Mediumship is like friendship.

Sometimes, you meet a person and you just gel with them right away. You totally ‘get’ each other, and there’s a vibe and flow to your conversation.

There will be other people with whom, for no apparent reason, you just don’t vibe with. They may be too different to you in their approach to life, or how they view the world. It’s not that they’ve done anything wrong to you - you just wouldn’t necessarily gravitate towards each other in a crowded room.

Then there’s everyone in between.

That same feeling of how well you vibe with someone, is present in mediumship, for me at least.

It’s the feeling of how well, or poorly, the spirit person, the recipient, and I, are aligned.

I can no more synthesize this connection, or lack thereof, than I can force rapport with someone I meet for the first time at a party.

I say this to reassure you that if you didn’t receive a message from me last night, or you did but you perceived that it was weaker than some of the other readings, do not be dismayed.

Stay open to the possibility of better alignment, either with a different medium, or at a different time.

I’m not suggesting you begin a frenzied search for the medium who is perfectly aligned with you - that would not be healthy.

But remain faithful that, just as fate had a hand in how you met the one that would turn out to be your dearest friend, the Universe will draw you to the right one, at the right time, who can give you the comfort and evidence of survival you seek.
