How is it that we can love someone who died just as deeply as if we're still in a relationship with them?
Maybe it’s because we are, in one way, still in a relationship with them.
And how can it be that the love we shared is still so intense, as if we just hugged them yesterday? It seems not to fade with the passage of time.
And even stranger still...how is it that we sometimes get the feeling that someone who has died is trying to love us back, by leaving us signs, breadcrumbs and nudges when we feel lost?
I know you know what I'm talking about!
It seems that life and love come apart. One ends and the other keeps right on going.
I think that the body and the human spirit come apart at exactly the same spot. When we die, one part of us returns to earth, and the other continues to love and impart meaningful influence across time.
I believe that this eternal bond makes mediumship possible, and when we mediums deliver an accurate message, we are simply lucky enough to get a front row seat to witness the loving bonds you share with your friends and family in spirit.
That’s what I do. That’s what most good mediums do. We describe the loving bonds we perceive. Those bonds are laid out like a starry night. An inky velvet quilt. Constellations of love and meaning spread across our awareness. If you soften your gaze and wait patiently, shapes, patterns and connections emerge. To those who can navigate, the constellations lead the way home. They lead to the understanding that there is something meaningful about us that can never be violated, not even by death, nor time.
Once we have existed, it can never be undone.
Now, I’d love to hear from you. Have you ever felt the unbreakable bond with your loved ones who have passed?
